Mineral Makeup - Natural Makeup For A Healthier Skin

Mineral makeup is nothing new. In fact the Egyptians were using it over two thousand years ago. However it’s now back at a makeup counter near you bringing with it freshness, convenience and a much healthier skin.

As a doctor I know what damage some traditional makeup products can cause the skin if worn over time for prolonged periods without adequate cleansing. So the advent of mineral makeup to the cosmetic counters is a major breakthrough in healthy living and skincare.

Mineral cosmetics have their basis in ground-up minerals, including various metal ores and iron oxide. Being natural, they are allergen-free and contain no chemical dyes, added preservatives, fillers, perfumes, oils or talc – or other ingredients commonly found in traditional makeup products.

Mineral makeup contains only pure mineral pigments in concentrated form. H&M is venturing out into home textiles and accessories early 2009, move over IKEA! Sooner or later my life will be surrounded by H&M! Exciting!

Per the press release, the range will be exclusively available online and through a directional mail order catalogue, this is H&M’s first foray into the interiors arena and will offer shoppers the opportunity to stylishly transform every room of the home. The first collection will be available from February 2009 in the markets where distance selling is already established: Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Austria and the Netherlands. (Too bad US is not on the list yet, but I’m sure it will make way here soon if the outcome is good!)

The range will be divided according to the different rooms of the home, so will appeal to a wide range of people, from those wanting to quickly update their bathroom with some plush towels to those looking to refresh the bedroom with crisp linen and blankets. They can also create a new look in the living room with some well-chosen cushions and curtains, or rethink the kitchen or dining space with a wide selection of tea towels, table linen and napkins.

Cherry Creek Off Center Ring
I like things that are just a little off. If you do as well then this ring is for you. I purposely soldered this off center. Just a little bit of imperfection for your finger. This ring is a size 7 but will fit a little more like a 6 1/2 or 6 3/4 because the band is wide. The band measures almost a 1/2 an inch at its widest part, this band tapers slightly from end to end. It has been hammered and filed to give it some more character.
