Eric Winter Roselyn Sanchez Wedding

Eric Winter and Roselyn Sanchez were married in San Juan, Puerto Rico on Saturday at the historic San Cristobal fort.

The couple dated for two years prior to their engagement on January 1, 2008.

Winter, 32, has a recurring role on ABC’s Brothers and Sisters as Jason McCallister, the brother of Senator Robert McCallister (Rob Lowe) and love interest of Kevin Walker (Matthew Rhys), however he is best known for his role as Rex Brady on NBC daytime soap opera Days of Our Lives.

Sanchez, 35, is a Puerto Rican singer, model, film and television actress currently starring as Agent Elena Delgado on the CBS drama Without a Trace.

Hillary Rodham Clinton will join President-elect Barack Obama’s national security team as Secretary of State.

Democratic officials, speaking on the condition of anonymity, said Obama will name the New York senator as his Secretary of State at a press conference in Chicago on Monday.

Obama also plans to announce that Defense Secretary Robert Gates will remain in his job for a year or more and that retired Marine General James M. Jones will serve as national security adviser.

Bill Clinton cleared the way for his wife to take the job by agreeing to disclose the names of every contributor to his foundation since its inception in 1997. He’ll also refuse donations from foreign governments to the Clinton Global Initiative, his annual charitable conference, and will cease holding CGI meetings overseas.

Former President Clinton’s business deals and global charitable endeavors were expected to create problems for Hillary’s nomination. But in negotiations with the Obama transition team, the former president agreed to several measures designed to bring transparency to his post-presidential work.

Here is the full text of the internal guidance about the agreement.

Critics have pointed out that the President-elect’s team doesn’t represent the change he promised on the campaign trail, with all of his top choices having served in either the Clinton or Bush administration.

Jessica Cutler is an author, blogger and former congressional staff assistant who was fired for blogging about her active sex life and the money she was paid for same. She is also reportedly a friend of Madam Kristin “Billie” Davis.

In 2004, while working for Senator Michael DeWine, she published her blog Washingtonienne. She identified her lovers by their initials. “F = married man who pays me for sex, chief of staff at one of the government agencies, appointed by Bush.” “W = a sugar daddy. I keep trying to end it with him, but the money is too good.” “RS = my new office BF with whom I am embroiled in an office scandal. The current favorite.”

She also wrote that she’d accepted $400 for sex with a high level Bush appointee. She justified receiving money by saying: “I’m sure I am not the only one who makes money on the side this way. How can anyone live on $25K/year?”

Her identity was revealed by the blog Wonkette in May 2004, resulting in a Capitol Hill scandal. She was fired on May 21, 2004 for “unacceptable use of Senate computers.” By summer 2004 she posed nude for Playboy magazine and sold a book The Washingtonienne: A Novel for $300,000. She also struck a deal with HBO to tell her story in a television series.

Things were moving along well until “RS” filed a lawsuit against Cutler and HBO for invasion of privacy to the tune of $25 million. In order to protect herself, Cutler filed for bankruptcy in May 2007.

In March 2008 she met a young lawyer while she was out partying in a bar. The random meeting resulted in the development of a relationship with 28 year old Charles Rubio, an associate at Milbank, Tweed, Hadkey & McCloy in New York. He bought her a Cartier love bracelet last month, instead of a ring, and proposed in Grand Central Station on the way home.

Singer Carly Simon may have aided in getting clemency for the so-called “Fourth Fugee” John Forte. Next month Forte will be a free man after serving half of his 14 year sentence in Federal prison after being granted clemency by President George W. Bush.

The rapper is one of 16 people who were gifted a “get out of jail free card.” It’s almost like winning the lottery because over 2,000 requests are sitting on the President’s desk now.

John, who went to prep school with Carly Simon’s son Ben, was busted after being caught with 31 pounds of coke at Newark Intl Airport in NJ back in 2000.

Simon lobbied for Forte’s release by speaking with Senators Ted Kennedy and Orrin Hatch. How does one justify 31 pounds of cocaine? Sounds like a baaad habit.

Ashlee Simpson and husband Pete Wentz have welcomed their first child, a boy.

Bronx Mowgli Wentz - who weighed 7 lbs, 11 oz, and was 20.5 inches long - was born Thursday night, a spokesperson for the couple confirms to Usmagazine.com.

“Proud new parents Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson-Wentz welcomed new son, Bronx Mowgli Wentz, late this evening,” the rep tells Us. “Ashlee, Pete and baby Bronx are all healthy and happy, and thank everyone for their well wishes!”

Us Weekly first broke the news that Simpson, 24, and Wentz, 29, were expecting in April.

“Carrying a child is the most inspiring, emotional, amazing experience of my life,” Simpson wrote on her MySpace page. “My weight and my pant size are the absolute last thing I am concerned about. I am only concerned with having a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby.”

During her pregnancy, Wentz — whom she wed in May — doted on her, often fetching her No. 1 craving: green olives.

He said she wanted “green olives on everything! You always have to be ready.”

As her due date neared, Wentz said Simpson couldn’t wait to give birth.

“She’s excited, she’s anxious… I think she wants it to be over,” he recently said on Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS-FM radio show. “She just wants to not be pregnant any more. She wants to have it because it’s, like, a struggle to go up and down the stairs … going out in public’s insane.”

(As for the baby’s name, Bronx, Wentz said his goal was to make sure his kid would have a moniker that would work as either “a rock star or a senator.”)

No doubt Ashlee’s sister Jessica Simpson is thrilled: In September, she said she couldn’t wait to be an aunt.

“I’m going to spoil the kid rotten, that’s for sure,” she said. “I think my sister’s going to be pretty strict, actually, because she’s been so good throughout her pregnancy.”
