Thanks to milkyaqua for finding this clip of Chantal Jones, runner-up of Cycle 9 of America’s Next Top Model, on The Bold and the Beautiful. Chantal is in the clip for only a few seconds. She plays a model who is hired for a shoot involving Rick Forrester. The episode aired on November 17.

I wish she had been given a bigger role. It’s great to see Chantal getting regular work. I really liked her and thought she deserved to win over Saleisha in Cycle 9.

Leather Jackets Autumn Winter 08

Leather just seems to be every where at the moment. Leather jackets have always been popular but leather trousers and dresses are also every where this year. The leather biker jacket is probably the most common leather jacket and is a firm favourite among the celebrities but this winter there are a number of other trends around including smarter leather blazers and leather coats. The great thing about leather is that it is one of the only pieces of clothing that you will own that improves with age.

At Givenchy - an all black outfit was finished off with a cape style leather jacket. The cape almost looked military in its style and is an eye catching bold style statement.

At Alexander McQueen - a classic leather blazer gave an edgy look to a long style tailored jacket and trousers.

Rick Owens is well known for his must have leather jackets. This autumn and winter he created some really innovative styles with panels sewn together to create oversized jackets.

At D Squared - a butter soft leather jacket with smart buttons and and details for a sexy but sophisticated look.

This Almost Famous leather jacket is a right on trend for this year with lovely soft leather and chiffon collar, waistband and cuffs.

Dear Nice Kicks Readers,

What are you thankful for? Is it having a job? shelter? clothing? food? or just time with your family? While I am very grateful for the essentials that I am fortunate to have, I am thankful for the people that I have in my life. Family first, I was extremely happy to spend the day with my wife with a baby on the way, daughter, and younger brother with his girlfriend.

To kick off the list, I am very thankful for my team I work with daily at the Nice Kicks lab. Greg, George, Nick, and Peter have helped me greatly to push harder as well as get more news out each day.

Life would not be the same without our partners at Complex - Joe, Bradley, Maeve, Aleksey, Ashish, Moksha, and Rich. I have said it before, and I will say it again - Thank you for pushing me to step out of the box of “blogs” and teach us to provide better content for our readers.

Many brands have stepped up and have worked with us above and beyond…even when our requests may seem like harassment. My good people at Nike: Demetria and KeJuan from the NY office have been great to us. D’Wayne Edwards of Jordan Brand has helped us greatly by getting us in touch with Terri from JB. Much thanks also goes out to Sarah and Kristen. Kristina from New Balance always helps us out with samples when we need them - much thanks. Nu from Puma has been helping us stay up on the crazy cat and what is going on with that Dassler brother while Kristen has been keeping us going with the other Dassler - Adidas. Shaun and Hillary we have to thank for keeping us up to date with Reebok. Special thanks for all of the independent brands as well - we will never forget you guys. Thank you for brining new ideas to the table in this saturated market. We have an imense amount of love for all of the independent shops. You guys are what drives this culture. Any store can open up and sell products, but I am very thankful for the art and culture that ‘mom and pops’ bring to sneakers. I will attempt to remember all the shops we work with but please excuse me if I forget to mention your name. Livestock, Rock Paper Scisors, Goods, Just Be, Huf, UNDFTD, Alife, Premium Goods, Adikt, Politics, Shoe Gallery, Standard ATL, Proper, Next. I know I am leaving off a ton, but I thank all of you for what you bring to sneakers.

The Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade rickrolls the nation!

During parade commentary by the Today Show’s Katie Couric, Matt Lauer and Al Roker, Lauer announces that there will be a “special musical surprise” on the Cartoon Network’s “Fosters Home for Imaginary Friend” float. As the Foster pals sing “You’re My Best Friend,” Rick Astley steps out and begins singing his rickrolling phenom “Never Gonna Give You Up.”

Afterward, one of the Foster pals shouts “I like rick rolling!”

Sharing is Caring (With Your Clothes?)

The other day, my mother told me about this book called The Necklace, which follows the story of thirteen women who buy a diamond necklace to share - they couldn't afford it individually - and find that their perception of value and luxury changes drastically.

The concept is provocative; enjoying the glamour and fun of a diamond necklace at a drastically lower price, and bonding in the process. Sign me up.

I think it would be amazing to go in with your best friends on something like Goyard Luggage, or a Rick Owens fur, or a Nina Ricci gown. In short, something super expensive that you wouldn't use everyday, and thus wouldn't miss.

But Natalie went straight to the practicality factor: What if one person loses it? Or breaks it? Or you all want to use it at the same time?

But realistically, just like a timeshare, if someone did lose the item then I suppose they would be responsible to pay everyone back, just like if you borrowed anything from your friend and broke it. Here at least, you have the innate trust that it belongs to you all.

Plus, there's the fun factor, as Britt called it, a sort of "sisterhood of the traveling necklace". But she also thinks it complicates what should be a very simple process - getting dressed - with issues like timing, calling, e-mailing, texting, etc, which adds too much time to something that may already take some people half the morning.

This all seems very green, and fun and exciting to me (not to mention a potentially genius solution to everyone's dwindling shopping funds), but what about you guys?

Could you deal with part ownership of a bracelet the same way you could for a private jet?

Colorado Judge Makes Noise Violators Listen To Manilow

Colorado's Fort Lupton Municipal Judge Paul Sacco fights fire with…..fire.

When kids violate local noise ordinances, they're forced to sit in a room and listen to Barry Manilow.

Torture indeed!

Sacco began the program when he noticed that these kids would just show up to pay the fines in court, and would then go and repeat their offenses.

It's sort of like a cruel and unusual detention session.

May we recommend Manilow's truly atrocious cover of Rick Astley's Never Gonna Give You Up?

Just one listen would be punishment enough!

X17 XCLUSIVE - Paris Parties With Rick Salomon!?

Well this is shocking! Last night after she left Villa, Paris headed to sister Nicky's house for an afterparty, and surprise, surprise, Paris' ex (and sex tape partner) Rick Salomon was there! The party raged on until 4am, and though there's no word on whether or not Rick and Paris made "One Night In Paris: Part Deux," we're pretty sure Benji's not going to be thrilled about it! Hmm, what are you hiding Paris? You never do this! Now that's more like it!

Some of us are going to have the opportunity to travel this holiday season, possibly as early as Thanksgiving. Sometimes I find the hardest part of the packing process is figuring out what to wear on the plane. I like to try to pack efficiently, and that is much harder than it sounds. Ideally, you should pack a bunch of pieces that can all work well together. Well…that’s what they tell you on all the morning shows, but I need options. I want to be able to change my mind if I don’t feel like wearing the top I brought. This is precisely why I always end up packing too much. I go through the same struggle when I’m trying to figure out what to wear on the plane. I want to be smart about it by trying to wear pieces that will also work once I arrive at my destination. So, I’ve decided on my favorite “daytime” jeans, a knit tee, a comfy sweater, and motorcycle boots. My thinking is I can always use a pair of jeans for hanging around during the day, a knit tee and comfy sweater will work beautifully if an evening chill sets in, and motorcycle boots for walking around with the kids. PHEW - I did it! The question is … will all my planning pay off? Or will I get there and never touch my travel clothes until I go to get dressed to come home? Oh well, at least I made an effort. What are you going to wear?

Dear “It” bag,

I know, we shared many a out-of-body, existential, maudlin shopping experience at Barney’s, Bendel’s, Yoox.com and that one time in London @ the Marc Jacobs opening were (foolishly) I thought Pounds and Dollars were the same. I lost you, and you always came back to me. I too thought it would be until forever and I would have to be buried with a Stam. You literally carried me, as I carried you, through my French Underground- “Vive la résistance!” crazy person phase, validating my fashion warfare stance that one (one being myself) should only wear the French fashion houses: Lanvin, Dior, Lacroix, Gaultier, Chanel etc. etc. so on and so forth. But, I can no longer fight dirty, with excessive socially alienating symbols all over my person. Guerrilla-fur fashion warfare is excessive and to much look in a purse distracts from, well, me. I must be blunt; We are through. And yes, there is someone else.

He is called by many different names. He validates without alienation. He loves my legs. He is a shoe. I hope this post finds you well.
