More Trump $$$ Woes

When it rains it pours!

The Donald's already twice bankrupted Atlantic City-based biz, Trump Entertainment, is in money trouble again.

It can't make a $53.1 million loan payment due today, Monday, to its creditors!

Is this one of the reasons why Donald tried to get out of paying that multi-million dollar bill for his Chicago project?

On Friday, it was announced that Trump Entertainment has a 30-day grace period to pay up. Donald's boys and girls will be chatting with lenders to sort this messy business out!

Trump Entertainment is the parent company of three A.C. gambling meccas, The Trump Taj Mahal, Trump Plaza on the Boardwalk and the Trump Marina.

According to reports, on November 7th, Trump Entertainment reported that it lost $139.1 million in its third quarter.

Slower consumer spending, competition from Pennsylvania, and a smoking ban were listed as the reasons for the latest shitty results.

Donald is the largest share holder of Trump Entertainment, though is not involved in operations management.

We wonder if Melania has her eye on a better looking, not as financially effed mogul to run away with.

TJX competition results

Congratulations Corey! You win the $250 T.J. Maxx and Marshalls gift voucher. You were a clear winner so we didn’t need to use the tie-breaker question, but the competition was fierce.

Tanya and Cynthia were very close behind, but weren’t quite as complete on question 2. We accepted “yes”, but a more accurate answer is that T.J. Maxx and Marshalls carry both in-season and previous season merchandise. Bonus points went to those who mentioned that more than 85% of the stock is in-season.
Christine, Cherylp and Mishie were also in contention, but lost by a hair on question 1. We gave extra points to people that went beyond the information in the TJX corporate website, or at least acknowledged in their answers that these numbers applied to end 2007.
Antje deserves an honorable mention. She went completely above and beyond, citing her sources and calling the companies to get accurate information on the number of stores. Sadly, she missed on question 4. Although these stores don’t carry couture clothing, they do carry couture brands. Designers like Jean Paul Gaultier and Marc Jacobs run both couture and prêt-a-porter collections, and it’s their prêt-a-porter collections that you’ll find at some T. J. Maxx stores.
People were tripped up by question 5 on the differences between the two TJX off-price chains. Many answers talked about Marshalls, but few mentioned the aspects that are unique to T. J. Maxx.

On behalf of the TJX team, thank you so much for your thoughtful suggestions regarding the shopping experience. It was great to see the positive sentiment about the TJX concept and their retail chains in your responses. Hot Holiday Hair 'Do

Nexxus Creative Director and Celeb Stylist Kevin Mancuso provided this step-by-step guide to creating the fab look you see to the left.

For your holiday party or next big soiree, don’t be afraid to go for volume. Big skirts and big hair are back in a big way.

Step 1: Shampoo and condition hair with products that
will reduce frizz and tame flyaways like Nexxus Sleektress Shampoo and Nexxus Hydra Sleek Conditioner.

Step 2: Apply a straightening product with silicone, like Nexxus Sleek Memory, all over locks for frizz-free results. Then, mist a volume boosting product, like Nexxus Root Exxtend, directly to the roots.

Step 3: Blow-dry hair with a large, round brush. Set top section of hair into a large roller to create volume at the crown. Use a small amount of a smoothing crème, such as Nexxus Sleek Style, and a flat iron on the rest of hair to maximize smoothness and control flyaways. Then, secure side sections in back of head with bobby pins.

Step 4: Remove roller, and divide the top section of hair into two pieces. Allow back piece to fall over pinned sides, and back comb the front piece to add volume. Gently pull front piece back to form a structured poof,
and secure with bobby pins. Use finger tips to smooth out style, and finish with a light-hold hairspray, such as Nexxus Comb Thru.

Step 5: Gently pull the bottom section of hair to one side, and secure into a low, side ponytail with an elastic. Help tame flyaways by lightly misting hair with a medium hold hairspray.

yet looks very polished.”

Use of Custom Facial Implants for Treatment of Facial Wasting Syndrome

Facial Wasting Syndrome is characterized by the loss of facial tissue and subcutaneous fat that gives cheeks and temples their plumpness. This results in the hollowing of the eyes and a bony, emaciated facial appearance. FWS can occur naturally with age, but is usually the result of an underlying illness. FWS is usually an early identifier of the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) which is defined by the involuntary loss of 10% of baseline body weight in combination with diarrhea, weakness, fever, and is considered an AIDS-defining illness.
As patients with HIV live longer, healthier lives due to the advances in medicine in the last decade, many are seeking surgical treatment of facial wasting syndrome. In Beverly Hills, Dr. William J. Binder, Board Certified Facial Plastic and Reconstructive surgeon, has developed and perfected the use of custom-designed facial implants for the treatment of FWS, as well as for facial rejuvenation and other aging processes. With the use of Beverly Hills facial implants, which are custom designed using 3-dimensional computer-aided design and manufacturing technology, Dr. Binder can precisely measure, design, and manufacture implants based on the patient’s unique facial contours, in order to fill the mid-facial hollows and depressions and soften the folds and wrinkles, creating a more youthful, healthy, and rejuvenated facial appearance. Dr. Binder has used this procedure with great success, proving that custom implants provide a safe, effective, aesthetically pleasing, and long-lasting solution to the problem of facial atrophy which occurs in 50% of patients with HIV who receive highly active antiretroviral therapy (HAART). Dr. Binder has pioneered several advances in plastic surgery techniques aside from custom facial implants. He also discovered the use of Botox for the treatment of migraine headaches, was one of the first surgeons to develop and lecture on the nasal grafting techniques used currently in closed structure Beverly Hills Rhinoplasty, and holds ten U.S. and worldwide patents on medical devices and pharmaceuticals. Dr. Binder most frequently performs rhinoplasty and revision rhinoplasty, or Beverly Hills nose surgery and strongly supports the philosophy that nasal surgery must achieve consistent and natural-looking results.

Cosme.Net (@Cosme) has posted the feature on The Best Cosmetics Awards 2008. The results are based on reader reviews of products released between November 1, 2007 and October 31, 2008.

Two things that caught my attention are the Best Eyeshadow and Best Newcomer awards. My two favorite eye palette series in 2008, Coffret D'Or's 3D Lighting Eyes and Lunasol's Sheer Contrast Eyes (both from spring 2008) are number 1 and 2 on the list. (Sofina Aube's Impression Eyes took the number 3 spot.) 3D Lighting Eyes also won the Best Newcomer award.

I am happy that it seems many other people agree that the two ranges offer fantastic products. The two 3D Lighting Eyes palettes I have, Purple and Gold Variations, are among my favorite eye palettes, while Sheer Contrast Eyes' Lavender Coral is also among my favorites and is probably my favorite lilac palette at the moment.

These items are undoubtedly some of the makeup highlights for me in 2008, and I am certainly looking forward to what these two brands have to offer in 2009!

Givenchy Prisme Again! Blush Quartet in Euphoric Orange ($40.00) looks intimidating at first, but it is really a great pop of coral for your cheeks. I truly thought, “No way!” when I first saw it, but lo and behold, it is a much subtler color when it’s actually used. What I’ve noticed isn’t that it isn’t pigmented, but the product itself is very silky and fine, so when it lays down on the face, it blends so effortlessly into your skin. This results in a very natural coral glow, nothing garish or clownish whatsoever. Also, the shimmer is very subtle; when you see it, it has more to do with how the light hits your face than seeing chunks of glitter or shimmery bits. Overall, it’s such a natural coloring that I often wear this on my minimal makeup days. I’ll pair it with lightly mascara-coated lashes and a Philosophy Lip Shine. I might have to try some more Givenchy blushes soon!
