After the Chocolate x Justin Eldridge x éS collab, skate heads have probably been looking forward to upcoming drops from éS, and now we got it for you.

The éS Footwear Spring 2009 Preview gives a glimpse into the future releases from éS. Spring of 09 will see a number of releases, the Eldridge signature shoe, the Theory 1.5 gets a black and red colorway, along with the Danny Garcia Sig, the Garcia 2, and Cessna Mid. The most creative drop will come in the form of the HI-LO, which features a removable upper ankle so you can unsnap, and unstrap, and have a low top in no time.

Charmed, I'm Sure

Apologies for the last post this morning, dear readers. The DCGF arrived at her destination via Amtrak at the lovely hour of 5:45AM this morning, and a tiny nap was in order before my writing would make sense. It was a great trip, though, in that I was able to catch up on a whole pile of fashion and style mags that had been weighing down my magazine rack back home.

Perhaps the most inventive accessories I saw for fall are charms in all shapes and forms. Gals of a certain age (ahem, moi) might remember wearing these garish plastic necklaces laden with equally garish plastic charms when we were somewhere around 8 or 9. I think I still have mine somewhere. Worlds away from that is the completely covetable Lanvin Yellow Lady charm/keychain, which I cannot for the life of me find a picture of online. When I do, you'll be the first to know.

Other options about, though, at virtually all price points. I mean, sure, you could just go to Tiffany & Co. and call it a day, but let's think beyond that. In fact, a charm bracelet might just be the perfect gift this holiday season.

Some of my favorite charm bracelets come from the Marc by Marc Jacobs accessories collection and the 'Miss Marc' Heritage Bracelet has to be one of the best. It's like Edward Gorey characters have been turned into uber-stylish Matroyshka dolls and hung from a chunky enameled chain. It's available from Nordstrom for $228, which is way less than just about any other Marc by Marc Jacobs item will set you back at the register.

Will I be buying one this season? Hmm... Consider it at the top of the DCGF's wish list!

I always thought of Kirks Folly as "a brand that my mother wears," but increasinly I see some pretty cool stuff, even if you have to buy most of it from QVC (I'm not hatin', just sayin'!).
