Supreme x Vans - Mountain Edition and Old Skool

With a long history of collabs, Supreme teams up once again with Vans for a premium set of kicks which will be available starting December 4th.

The latest Supreme x Vans collaboration uses the Old Skool, and the Mountain Edition sneakers. Supreme does up these Vans favorites in premium leather and nubuck. 4 colorways of each sneaker will be available, no price has been set but set your alarm clocks now because this drop won’t last long.

Available in store, at Supreme on December 4th, 2008, online December 8th, and in Japan on December 6th.

Another look at one of the releases from the upcoming Jeremy Scott x Adidas “Originals by Originals.”

The Jeremy Scott x Adidas Artillery High features lime green and patent snakeskin. The added strap across the laces, and premium leather add the final touches to this unique Adidas Original.

90’s styling that will be hated by some, but will break necks for those that have swagger to rock these high end throwbacks. “Originals by an Originals” couldn’t describe this Jeremy Scott designed sneaker better.

The last Air Jordan Fusion 20 Low we showed you disgusted you so much that we bring you the first look of yet another colorway in hopes of swaying your opinion (probably not).

The Air Jordan Fusion 20 Low - Dark Cinder/Varsity Red features a coffee brown upper made of premium leather and nubuck. Red accents are visible on the lace tag, tongue, heel, and stitching on the midsole. This unique sneaker is also complimented with a gum sole. Similar to the aforementioned Air Jordan 20 Fusion, this shoe also contains laser print on the side panels.

The Air Jordan Fusion 20 Low - Dark Cinder/Varsity Red will publicly hit retailers on December 20th, 2008; however, you can pick them up now at BNYC for a heftier price. More detailed pics after the jump. Also, check out the release date info below.

New Balance WRC576P Tonal Pack

New Balance has this interesting pack set to release in December. The New Balance WRC576 Tonal Pack comes in three distinct colorways using a combination of tonal colors and a variety of materials in each. These shoes are another fusion of a running shoe and a boot with a mixture of patent leather, suede, nylon and premium leather.

The three versions are different only in the main color used - black, green and cobalt blue. The black version is the most laidback, while you can definitely add some color to your wardrobe by rocking either the green or blue version. All three have a white midsole, which provides some stark contrast.

I have some younger cousins and friends of the family I need to get presents for, and I don’t have the money to go for broke this year (especially with lots of cousins), because I’m already there. Here are some sites to try if you’re on a budget:

And you know, I don’t know if I can do it anymore (yes, Grandma over here realizes too much leopard print and too many bows make her look vaguely Rocky-Horror-meets-GoGo-from-Kill-Bill), but if your niece is wild and cute enough to rock Betsey Johnson well, you could send her to Amazon’s Friday Sale. (But then, you might want to keep a pair of those leopard print pumps in the back of your closet for your wild nights in!!)

And this is your chance to get something priced for a teenager for yourself! Maybe I’ll just be getting a pair of $30 heels online, but it’s nice to treat yourself. I prefer YSL, but if it’s Sigerson Morrison for Target’s really cute electric blue booties or jeweled flats this year, that’s more than fantastic. I actually like it when someone recognizes something I have as being Awesome, Creative, Young Designer for Target, because it’s usually a hard working career gal with fun style! I can’t tell you how many times in New York a coworker or stranger has come up to me in posh Midtown and said, “Is that Behnaz Sarafpour/Proenza Schouler/Erin Fetherston for Target?” Here are a couple of my Sigerson Morrison for Target faves for you and the gals in your life:

I also highly recommend Target’s Sonia Kashuk makeup as presents for girls in your life, because they are informative, from How To Make a Smokey Eye to Brow Arch Kit, and it’s some of the best quality, low price point makeup I’ve ever gotten. Bourjois and Rimmel are two other makeup companies that not every single one of her suburban mall-dwelling girlfriends will have, though Bourjois is carried at Sephora.

Mariana by Golc is another pretty, reasonable line that suits younger women, not too young and flashy but not old or matronly at all!

And if you prefer to get your kicks, literally, in person, perhaps your wallet will like the outlets, which all seem to be having MASSIVE SALES that start early, many on Thursday night. Don’t playa-hate on those outlets, New Yorkers, just get there with a little help from your friends with cars or take that famous Port Authority bus!

Dear Nice Kicks Readers,

What are you thankful for? Is it having a job? shelter? clothing? food? or just time with your family? While I am very grateful for the essentials that I am fortunate to have, I am thankful for the people that I have in my life. Family first, I was extremely happy to spend the day with my wife with a baby on the way, daughter, and younger brother with his girlfriend.

To kick off the list, I am very thankful for my team I work with daily at the Nice Kicks lab. Greg, George, Nick, and Peter have helped me greatly to push harder as well as get more news out each day.

Life would not be the same without our partners at Complex - Joe, Bradley, Maeve, Aleksey, Ashish, Moksha, and Rich. I have said it before, and I will say it again - Thank you for pushing me to step out of the box of “blogs” and teach us to provide better content for our readers.

Many brands have stepped up and have worked with us above and beyond…even when our requests may seem like harassment. My good people at Nike: Demetria and KeJuan from the NY office have been great to us. D’Wayne Edwards of Jordan Brand has helped us greatly by getting us in touch with Terri from JB.
