Madonna wants to be the next Oprah.

So Madonna is making an attempt to be the Oprah version for white people. She wants to build a school in Africa for girls only.

Of course, Oprah’s school is not connected to any kind of religious cult. Raising Malawi is an off shoot of the Kabbalah Center in Los Angeles, run by former insurance salesman Philip Berg and his family.
There’s no word yet on whether the Madonna Academy students will have to wear $26 red strings on their wrists or drink bottled Kabbalah water. But pictures this weekend of Madonna carrying her adopted Malawi son, David Banda, into the Kabbalah center, pretty much says it all.

I mean, I guess this is Madonna’s way of rebounding from the Guy Ritchie divorce. She has to fill her time. Lets all hope that this doesn’t mean she intends to begin hanging out with Dr. Phil. At least she is trying to do some good for the world.

Sharon Stone and Her Boy Toy Are Over

The Daily Mail reports that Sharon Stone has dumped her 24-year-old toy play thing, Chase Dreyfous.

She started dating the 26-years younger Chase back in June.

Insiders told the paper that she had misgivings about the 'romance' after her unsuccessful attempt to change a custody agreement with her ex-husband, Phil Bronstein, over living arrangements for their son, Roan.

"The whole custody thing really devastated Sharon. She has always devoted herself 100 per cent to her children. The stuff about the Botox and so on that came up in court was totally invented. But the sad fact is it took the spark out of her relationship with Chase. Right now her focus is on her family," says a source.

The Botox allegation was one of the 'best' rumors that flew around this year!

But, glad to hear you'd rather play mommy than cougar, Sharon!

Debbie Matenopoulos Files For Divorce from Jay Faires

Debbie Matenopoulos, formerly form The View, and current E! Daily 10 host, filed for divorce from her husband Jay Faires, a music executive. The couple were married in July of 2003, and separated in March of 2008. They had no children together.

Faires is requesting that the court not award Matenopoulos spousal support. He indicated their property rights are to be determined. We’ll see how that goes.

Abby Elliott and Michaela Watkins New SNL Cast Members

Abby Elliott and Michaela Watkins have big shoes to fill replacing Amy Poehler and Tina Fey on Saturday Night Live.

NBC announced Thursday that Elliott and Watkins will join SNL this week as featured players.

The new comediennes are no strangers to showbiz.

Elliott’s father is SNL alum and onetime Letterman sidekick Chris Elliott. She comes from the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, an improv/sketch company co-founded by Poehler, and has voiced several episodes of King of the Hill and Mike Judge’s upcoming ABC cartoon The Goode Family.

Watkins comes from the Groundlings comedy troupe, launching pad of past SNL players including Will Ferrell, Phil Hartman, Laraine Newman and current cast member Kristen Wiig. She has appeared on Malcolm in the Middle, Without a Trace, Charmed, Californication and The New Adventures of Old Christine.

Oof, this video (below) is a nice one to watch if you’re a Sunderland fan - It’s all the boys doing their best pump walk avec “smiling with your eyes” face for a charity event called Fashion Strikes.

Sadly, there doesn’t seem to have been a minder backstage to check the models for fluff, stray lipliner or fresh breath before they headed down the runway as many players are smacking gum while they strut. Tsk, tsk.

But, let’s not get caught up on details when our love for Phil Bardsley has been rekindled, as has our adoration for Dijbril Cisse’s abs. Enjoy!

Oh, and: why the hell didn’t we get invited to this? These damn baller restraining orders are messing up all our fun.
