Have to be honest – I can’t do that wink! I’ve tried, and except if I’ll glue the eyelid, I get an impossible grimace, something I could hardly show to the camera.

So I look at I-D’s covers with somewhat unhidden admiration because of that wink! (sigh) Do they photoshop it after into the shot or it’s genuine? (because there’d still be hope for me then!). Lara Stone is the cover for I-D’s November 2008 issue with an interesting tag line (if it’s authentic, and I have no reason to believe otherwise): “Lara Stone Yes, I think I’m sexy” .

I’m one of those who doesn’t see Lara as an astonishing beauty. But what pleases me it’s that she’s not the average skinny model, not the usual beauty. She’s a walking sex appeal, that’s for sure, and maybe it’s one of the reasons she’s so catchy. So I don’t know about her being sexy, but I know about her being able to wink in complete beauty! Angelina Jolie By Brad Pitt For W Magazine November 2008

Everyone’s talking about that. Everywhere I turn my head it’s either Angie’s breastfeeding photos by Brad Pitt for W magazine or the US financial clash. At least I’ve got the choice!

I won’t get financial, we’re Stylefrizz. We love fashion and entertainment. So I’d go for Angelina Jolie and her fifth and sixth children, the twins Knox and Vivienne, her natural children with partner Brad Pitt. It’s not in discrimination that I’m saying the above, it’s because few years ago, W magazine published photos of her, Brad Pitt and five children in a story about domestic bliss in 1963. Prophecy or just marketing? (more pictures after the jump)

W is betting again on the most powerful couple of the world (at least as far as entertainment goes) and for its November 2008 issue make public a set of thirty something “private” photos of the Brangelina household. Photos said to be taken by Brad Pitt (in August 2008, in their residence from France) with her partner breastfeeding the twins. All we’ve got for now is the cover to freely speculate. And the first obvious thing adding an irony tail to the “private” thing is Angelina’s full eye makeup…

The sad thing is that this image covers an art issue. Even if it’s a statement about how celebrity can (and successfully does) replace a model, professionally suited for magazine covers and magazine spreads, Angelina Jolie (breastfeeding) on the cover of W magazine is somewhat misplaced. Yes, we live troubled times and marketing is a mean game (and this issue will most surely be a smashing hit) but it’s undoubtedly offending when it comes to true art. And just because she’s being photographed by Brad Pitt doesn’t make more artsy than Juergen Teller’s blitz burned pictures. Or maybe it’s just me.

Contrary to what it may seem obvious reading these lines, I liked Angelina. Like is an understatement. I had an obsession with her and her troubled ways. As I’ve said it before, that’s no secret to you. I have no measure of Brad Pitt’s artistic sense and (even if his architectural skills could prove me wrong) I think he has not the eye of a professional photographer. By all means, my husband has a passion for photography and to me he’s the world’s greatest photographer! But I’d like to hear you out. Tell me what you think about W’s November story with Angie and Brad. And the kids! (photos tfs, wmagazine)

If you thought you had seen all there was to see of Angelina Jolie, think again.

In a stunningly intimate photo spread in the upcoming issue of W magazine the mom of six gets up and close and personal with private snaps taken by partner Brad Pitt, including one of her breastfeeding on the cover of the mag.

PHOTOS: HOLLYWOOD'S CUTEST KIDS
"Angelina posed for Brad in one of the photos while breastfeeding. It's really beautiful and tastefully done," sources who have seen the photos told Life & Style magazine.

Another person who's seen the images says, "The photos are amazing."

PHOTOS: ADOPTED INTO STARDOM
Jolie reveals in Sunday's issue of Parade magazine that she and Pitt have a long road ahead.

"I don't want to spend my life pretending to be somebody else, and I don't want the person next to me to have to pretend ever, because we have a long life ahead of us," Jolie explains. "So you just want to be able to be who you are in every moment, and that's the only way you'll ever be truly happy."

Brad apparently shot the photos in mid-August at Chateau Miraval, the family's home in the South of France.

Model.Live Episode 8: Castings are like guys, maybe theyll call, maybe they wont.

There is a healthy buzz about Milan Fashion Week that renders it unparallel to any other city. The myriad of designers billed to show at Milan know it, the swarming cadre of press sense it, and the hoards of models who line the streets in anticipation of casting success envision it.

For a model, sauntering down the catwalk of a show in Milan can catapult one’s career into a separate stratosphere. As relatively new models, Madeline and Austria are itching to break into that plateau while Cato is one phone call away from realizing it.

Model.Live has definitely opened my eyes to the rigours of what it takes to actually be a model. It is by far not a walk-in-the-park, whimsical, fairy-tale profession as many would imagine. Stardom is not guaranteed and the mere act of booking shows neither. The truth of the matter is for an unknown starlet like Madeline and Austria breaking into the regimented ranks of blue-blooded models is a tough surmount. Sadly, it’s the designers who have a part to play in perpetuating this Patrician order of models. It’s what delayed Thakoon’s show for a good one hour.

After thirty castings over the course of three days, Austria does not land a show and neither does Madeline. Our heart goes out to Madeline, particularly in a singular scene in the car where she seems to choke up and requests the film crew to cut the tape.

The reasons for Madeline’s misfortunes in Milan are not so clear, but for Austria, her IMG manager’s feel that her lack of shows stems from her whittled down confidence and lethargy. Rumour has it that Austria was only 14 years of age as of February this year.

And just to let you know…Cato did receive the phone call, went on to walk Prada for the second season in a row and starred in shows for Dolce & Gabbana, Just Cavalli, and Alessandro Dell’Acqua!

It is a woman's prerogative to change her mind, and Cameron Diazsays she changed hers on the topic of marriage and motherhood. "I thought I'd be married and have kids by the time I was 22," the 36-year-old actress admits in the October issue of In Style. "But when I got to 22, I realized that wasn't what I wanted, which was a huge lesson." At a time when so many of her peers are either already moms or pursuing motherhood, Cameron is constantly asked when -- or if -- she's going to have a baby. "Who knows," she says. "I don't."

"I'm not going to live my life looking just for that. How can I know what my future holds? How about this -- I am happy right now. Does that count for anything?"

Being married or NOT being married is not what’s wrong with the Black and Latino community.

Fathers playing an active role in their children lives is of course a big problem but who says that they have to be married to the child’s mother??

Out of wedlock children, and the problems they typically face affects not only the family to which those children belong, but also the community at large. Yes, Badu’s situation is unique in that she presumably has enough money to care for her children (although we really don’t know how much money she has ….and if she went broke tomorrow she wouldn’t be the first millionaire turned bankrupt), but no amount of money can heal the wounds that comes with not having the father in the home. ….this is an epidemic that is running rampant in the black community. I know this issue is hurtful for a lot of us because we usually were born out of wedlock ourselves or have children out of wedlock (me, myself am a married woman w/ no children but was born out of wedlock). But just because something hurts or is too tough to face doesn’t mean we should ignore it or make it into a right.~NotBuyingIt

Part of the reason marriage doesn’t last is because in this modern day era, it’s cool to just have babies and not marry. There is no attachment to the two. ESPECIALLY if the father is in the child’s life.Marriage is ordained by God and it’s the whole package, due to this fallen world we live it’s not perfect however it’s more doable than our current society makes it out to be.

…like so many people have said before, marriage is not for everyone. And just because you marry someone does not guarantee they will stay together forever. I also agree with the fact that no one should get married just because they have a baby or get pregnant. That is ridiculous. Honestly, if i were to get pregnant and my boyfriend said “i think we should get married”, i would say no. My first question would be, “why, because we are going 2 have a baby so you think it’s the right thing 2 do.?” I don’t think so. Emma Watson Does Flare Magazine November 2008 Cover

Emma Watson who said she wants to take a break from her acting career to focus on her education is on the cover of November Flare magazine cover. Inside the magazine she talks about the years she spent on the set filming the Harry Potter series.

I wanted everything to be so perfect. I would work so hard to memorize my lines and the scene; we would have to stop shooting because I was mouthing Rupert [Grint]’s and Dan [Radcliffe]’s lines at the same time. That’s something I had to get over.

I had to cry for the first time when Hermione watches Ron kiss Lavender. It was difficult to bring up all that emotion and hurt in front of a full crew, and not just once, but over and over again from different angles.

Angelina Jolie opens up to Vanity Fair about love, babies, and politics

The German version of Vanity Fair magazine has yet another interview with Angelina Jolie for us to enjoy - I love when she takes the time to talk to the good magazines because it’s always so enjoyable to read what she has to say. In this issue she talks about Brad Pitt, her kids, and even gets (gasp!) political. Us Weekly has a few highlights for us to enjoy in case you’re not able to get the German Vanity Fair where you live (they’re hard to find here, but they’re also super expensive!).

On why she could be voting for Barack Obama: “Obama is fighting for international justice, he wants to intervene militarily in genocides abroad, and he wants to close down Guantanamo Bay. They are things which could move me to vote for him, not his roots. Of course, an American president like Barack Obama would be great for my family.”

It’s exactly what she had said in the past, that due to her work with the UNHCR, she was especially interested in hearing what each candidate had to say about work in war-torn third world countries like the ones she continues to help on a constant basis.

More highlights of the Vanity Fair interview with Angelina Jolie below the cut:

I’m particularly happy that she addressed this first one - so many people seem to think she’s anti-American just because she chose to adopt internationally.

On why she’s proud of the USA: “I am very proud of being American, and all my children have got American passports. For me, our family is just what America is - a melting pot, a mixture of many different races and nations. My children should be proud of their Asian and African roots, but that in no way means [is] a lack of respect for the fact that they and their parents are Americans.”

On her twins Knox and Vivienne (3-months-old on Sunday): “It’s a damned arduous business, and we are often simply whacked out because it is twice as hard with two babies as with one. But it also makes for double the fun. After we flew back from Europe, we were all suffering a bit from jetlag. We were all in bed early, but at half past four, they were awake and making a real racket… Brad took care of them. He said to me, ‘Go back to sleep, you’re back to work in the morning,’ and moved into the kids’ room with them. He is an astounding father, full of devotion… [Knox and Vivienne] have quite similar, stable rhythms. Every three hours they get hungry, then I have to satisfy them. But that’s OK, the two of them are totally sweet. When you see them, you think they were made for each other. They laugh together, they sniff each other, touch each other. It is beautiful.”

On struggling to find alone time with Brad: “Sometimes, at the end of the day, we try to retire to the bathroom to be undisturbed,” she says. “But then [the kids] hear the water running and want to come in and, yet again, we are all together. But that doesn’t disturb us because they are great kids.”

On how fame has changed motherhood for her: “I would like to have more freedom, especially to have the chance to be more spontaneous with my kids. Would I like to be able to walk through the streets with my kids? Of course. Would I like to be able to wander around Manhattan and buy them an ice cream like other mothers? Of course. But it is not possible. On the other hand, every morning I wake up with the people who are the most dear to me in the whole world. That’s why I don’t feel isolated from that, which is important to me. It helps, of course, that Brad knows all about it, but he’s experienced it even more than me. We often talk about it and try to make the best of things. But I am very grateful for our life and everything that we have.”

I think this may end up being one of my favorite interviews with her ever!

From Druggie To Preacher!

Thankfully, Perez is already down with Jesus! Can we get an Amen????

As we told you earlier this week, Katy Perry opened up about her personal life in the new issue of Blender magazine, and she also blabbed a bit about her folks too!

And, although most parents aren't perfect, Katy's have an 'interesting' background.

In the mag, she confesses that's that her father, now a preacher, was a druggie back in the day.

Perry said, "My dad would have died from one tab of Strawberry Fields (LSD) too many if he hadn’t found God.”

Aside from her dad being a druggie, turns out her mom, Mary Hudson, had "dated" guitar legend Jimi Hendrix. And, by "dated" she means went out on just one date, unfortunately. She coulda been a Hendrix!!!

Seems her mom wasn't always the best behaved. She once left home to "travel the world." That's when she met and Hendrix -in Spain.

Perry says, "He just came up to her in a club and picked her out."

But, her mom, who's an evangelical Christian preacher now, is still not a fan of her main hit, I Kissed a Girl, since it promotes "sin."

Maybe there's hope for Amy Winehouse after all????

Katy's parents should save Wino!!!!!!
