Chris Mims Found Dead

Chris Mims, former lineman for the San Diego Chargers, was found dead in his Los Angeles apartment just before 9:30am this morning.

38-year-old Mims played for the University of Tennessee and was drafted in 1992. He played eight seasons in the NFL, seven for the San Diego Chargers, and one with the Washington Redskins. He retired in 2000.

Police discovered Mims’ body while on a welfare check. He had been suffering from weight and medical problems.

Although the cause of death is unknown, foul play is not expected.

In a quirky move that only Quentin Tarantino could commit, the director has officially altered the name of his German WWWII flick from Inglorious Bastards to um, InglOURious BastERds, opting for the British spelling of "inglorious" and the…phonetic spelling of "bastard?"

A spokesperson for the film - starring Brad Pitt - said, "We are not entirely sure the reasons why it has been changed. We think it just has to be one of those Tarantino-esque things. All we do know is that is definitely the title from now on."

Oh, Quentin, you're so preciously unconventional!

Rachel Zoe Survives The Oscars, Assistants Temper Tantrums On Season Finale

It’s Wednesday and we’re here with our review of the Season Finale of The Rachel Zoe Project. I have to say, I was sad this show was over. I get a mixture of high fashion, drama, and comedy all neatly wrapped in one package. Ah, Rachel, we’ve come so far together…

This week we see the pressure the Oscars puts on a stylist and her team, especially when you have new kid Brad being bullied by obvious people-person (not) Taylor. He leaves Rachel at Cameron Diaz’s house without a “kit” of wardrobe solutions. Next season, keep everything in our wardrobe malfunctions guide in your car at all times and let us never speak of such catastrophe again, shall we?

Alas, I will take with me some style picks from Rachel and crew, like Taylor’s Ray Ban Classic Wayfarer Sunglasses ($109), a new love of large gold rings like this Rachel Leigh Edith’s Card Party Ring ($88) and a new obsession with faux fur coats, like this Marvin Richards Faux Fur Jacket ($138).

Parting is such sweet sorrow, Rachel. We never did get a chance to see you without eye makeup. Maybe Season Two?

Marilyn Manson Band Member Brad Stewart aka Gidget Gein Found Dead

Brad Stewart aka Gidget Gein, a former member of Marilyn Manson’s band, was found dead in his Burbank home from an apparent drug overdose on October 9th.

Stewart, 39, was the bassist for Marilyn Manson from 1989 to 1993, when he was replaced by Twiggy Ramirez due to his drug use.

Stewart created the stage name Gidget Gein by combining actress Sally Field’s character (Gidget) from the 60’s television show, with notorious serial killer Ed Gein.

He went on to form the band the Dali Gaggers, which featured various displays of degenerate art, ideas, and post-punk styled songwriting.

Most recently Stewert had begun to execute art and fashion shows in Hollywood, California under the organized name Gollywood.

The Los Angeles Coroner’s office has not released details of Stewart’s death.

So, Rachel's on edge. It's Oscar week and everything is going fine. This is a stressful time. Everything's normal.

This show works with a strange dichotomy. It's all "look how stressed out we are," while simultaneously all "but this is totally normal, it's like this all the time." Perhaps instead of the Rachel Zoe Project, they should call it Rachel Zoe: Everyday Peril.

Mean First Assistant Taylor gets off to her usual nasty start, complaining that "Brad's acting like he's done this before." WTF? Isn't that his job? Isn't that everyone's job?

Brad and Kimberly Williams-Paisley Expecting Second Child

Country star Brad Paisley and According to Jim actress Kimberly Williams-Paisley are expanding their family, the couple confirms to PEOPLE exclusively. Their second child is due in April, making 19-month-old son William 'Huck' Huckleberry a big brother, Kim, 37, shares with the magazine.

"We're having so much fun with our little boy Huck and we are thrilled that he will have a sibling. He's going to be a great brother."

Currently in Los Angeles wrapping up filming on her show, Kimberly will soon return to Nashville, where the family makes their home. Brad, 35, is set to host the 42nd annual Country Music Association Awards with Carrie Underwood in Nashville on November 12th.

JOLIE BUYS SON A KNIFE

Angelina Jolie has bought her seven-year-old son a knife.The actress, who adopted son Maddox from Cambodia in 2002, wants him to learn how to defend himself and understand the responsibilities of carrying a weapon.

She said in an interview with W magazine: “My mom took me to buy my first daggers when I was 11 or 12. And I have already bought Maddox some things.”

“We take him to a special shop. We also talk about samurais and the idea about defending someone as good. We talk about everything.”

“I suppose I just looked at him and loved him and just felt open to it. I suddenly wanted to.”

Angelina - who also has two other adopted children, Pax and Zahara, along with twins Knox and Vivienne and daughter Shiloh with partner Brad Pitt - has previously revealed she self-harmed when she was a teenager.

She said: “I collected knives and always had certain things around.”

“For some reason, the ritual of having cut myself and feeling the pain, maybe feeling alive, feeling some kind of release, it was somehow therapeutic to me.”
