I have several things in leopard print - handbags, clothes, lingerie, home decor, etc.  I think animal prints are chic and glamorous.  I don’t go overboard like Kimora Lee Simmons does… have you seen her closet???

Sofia Coppola directed this short, short 14 second TV commercial for the Dior fragrance. I would have like it if it is longer… maybe a minute or even 30 seconds.

James Franco appeared on David Letterman Friday night to talk about his new film Milk.  In the film, Franco’s character kisses Harvey Milk, played by Sean Penn.

Letterman was very interested in the liplock scene and questioned Franco at length about the encounter.  Franco admitted to being very nervous about getting it right.  Letterman was incredulous and said, “Do you really want to be good at kissing a guy?”

Franco smiled and said, “If you want it, I’d be willing to kiss you right now.”  He moves in close and gives Dave a sample.

The film, which opens November 26, tells the true story of California’s first openly gay elected official, Harvey Milk, a San Francisco Supervisor who was assassinated along with Mayor George Moscone by San Francisco Supervisor Dan White.

I have always loved dangling earrings since my early teens.  Most of my earrings are big danglers.  I hardly wear the small ones cause they get buried under my hair.

Man, I’d be so pissed off if I were in the audience for Oprah’s Favourite Things this year and rocked up expecting to receive an extravagant haul of free stuff: this year, the talk-show queen’s gifts will all cost “next to nothing”.

Americans can’t afford sweater capes, saltwater taffy, Chinese checkers and the rest of the trendy junk that typically comprises the Favourite Things. Why? The economic crisis! This means that Oprah, whose personal worth sits at around $2.7 billion, is scaling down to things that regular folks can afford… including “a special gift that won’t cost you a thing”.

It better not be something crappy like love.

OMJ (the “J” is for “Jeff Probst”): I never thought Survivor would top the tribal council where Probst contemptuously threw the fake immunity idol into the fire. But I was wrong. This week’s tribal council was a billion times better than that.I love that the last third of the episode was basically devoted to making Randy look like a huge, douchey buffoon: usually the editors do their best to obscure the identity of the eliminee, even when it’s completely obvious who’s going, but this episode they just went all out setting Randy up for a giant, hilarious fall.

I hate all these awful people, I hate the way they’re playing the game, and I especially hate their stupid tribe name “Nobag”. But Randy’s elimination was so smugly satisfying that I’m willing to give them a free pass this week.

Meanwhile, please let it be revealed at the finale that Marcus and Charlie are a couple:
