Ok. I think I need to come up with a beauty or makeup blog. Cos lately all my focus are on nice (budget) makeup products and makeup tutorials. I still love to rave about fashion but makeup is another interest of mine. Ever since I saw this large makeup kit on someone else's blog, my heart just bloomed like a flower. I heart makeup.
So been checking out on videos of makeup tutorial. I prefer a makeup tutorial done by a professional makeup artist cos you know you can really trust him / her. However, I found one particular makeup lover who's really creative in doing her look. I guess some of you are already familiar with her. She's xteeener. She got a whole lot of makeup video tutorials on youtube and I'm kinda hooked to 'em. Hehe. It's also good to know that her makeup products are not all about expensive or branded items. So you really can look fabulous even without RM100 plus eyeshadow as long as you know how to creatively use it.

After returning to my jet black hair for quite some time, again I decided to give it a hint of colour by doing highlights. Nothing extraordinary. Just a subtle change.

I'm not the one to spend hundreds of ringgit in buying beauty products, considering I'm still living on allowances this year ( yep, you heard me right ). But let's just say I went a bit above RM100 last Sunday on buying some. Nevertheless, I'm quite content with my purchases.
My fav body shower cream would be Dove Firming Moisture. It keeps my skin nice and firm ;p. Even bf complimented me. The one next to it is sort of an emergency spray for me. Hehe. T3 Acne body spray. It's suitable for those time of the months where you're painted red down under and suddenly annoying bits come out on your back, or neck or wherever. It may not work overnight but it suddenly helps to reduce the swelling.
These are my must-haves. Nivea Body Whitening Milk Repair to moisturise and maintain my skin's fairness ;P and Sun Play Powdery White SPF 47 to protect my skin from the sun. The sunscreen can be used on both body and face. It saves time from applying different products on different parts of the body. It whitens too. :)

I'm a first time user for both of these products and they do a heck of a good job. Blending Brush from Watsons' and Maybelline Eye and Lip Make Up remover. Really heart the eyeshadow brush. They tell you to use different eyeshadow brush on different parts of the eyelid. Well, I tried using the blending brush all over my eyelid and it did wonders. It spreads the eyeshadow across very smoothly and nicely. Loving the eye and lip make up remover too as it wipes the eyeshadow off so easily and doesn't irritate the eyes at all. Wah! Superb!

Sorry for the poor quality picture ;). Also my first time on using Maybelline Eye Studio in BR-3 Black Forest Cake. I'm not much of a pinkish eyeshadow user but just want to step out from my comfort zone once in a while. My take on it? Not bad. :). In the pic are also Silkygirl Long Lasting Eyeliner in 02 Black Brown and Silkygirl Funky Eyelights Pencil in 08 Frosty Silver. The former is a must while the latter is just a try-out. They're both doing a good job to the eyes.

Now I have a place where I could look for fashion inspiration and it's Lulus.com. Been eyeing on the tops and dresses on the website and here are some of my favorites.

Felt like it's been a while I hadn't hit the store and bought something for myself. Yesterday was an unintentional shopping experience. No, I didn't shop like crazy but I did buy things that satisfy me. For a start, a simple bluish green empire dress.

A simple dress can always give me the excuse to accessorise more. :)
Next, an earthy wooden bangle that was difficult for me to resist. I feel like I'm one with my element when I put it on. My element? Earth.

Finally, a cute pair of peep toe wedges. What attracted me to purchase this shoe was the heel.

It's not the usual wedges.

All of these cost me less than RM 90. :D

Moving out this weekend

Fringe remains uncut. Eyebrows are a mess. Nail polish are chipping off. These happen when one temporarily let go of herself due to the many other things to settle and this can only describe....me.

Was discussing with some friends just now. We're moving to a new place more close to civilisation. This can only mean one thing. More freedom with clothes. Hehe. Although for only 3 months, I think it's enough to satisfy my crave for a more fashionable lifestyle ( I hope ). Plus, I will have the chance to have my eyebrows trimmed. By a beautician. Yours truly is such a dummy when it comes to eyebrow trimming. The result will always be if a not disaster but close it.
Anyways, it will not be all bed and roses as we have tasks to be done diligently. Till then I hope for the best.
