Here are three of my favourites, and what better excuse to treat yourself to a new pair of shoes than money off? First up on the left are these ‘Simint’ ankle boots. A staple for your foot wardrobe this season, these boots are comfortable and capture the biker trend perfectly with the buckle detail. They’re perfect for everyday wear, and, with the 20% off, are only £48. Next up, in the middle, also £48, are ‘Cyla’ the perfect party heels. These patent, mock-croc sky scraper heels with work perfectly with any evening outfit, and are perfect for wearing a statement dress with. And finally, on the right, for when you’re all partied out, slip into these ‘Rafa’ sheepskin boots. Wearable inside and out, the sheepskin lining with keep your feet toasty and completely comfortable. They cost £108.

The cone shape heel and peep toe details really set the shoes off and combine really well the mix of hard and soft and gritty and feminine in one hit, which is so popular right now.

At £350 they are a little pricey so the highstreet version from ASOS makes a cheaper alternative. At just £30 they come in black or purple and these strappy satin stilettos feature a similar cross over detail as well as zip back fastening and concealed platform.

I always like to choose unusual pieces of jewellery and this one has a real sense of vintage heritage chic whilst being glam enough to team with a LBD for quirky appeal.

It would be great for layering too with blouses and cardies for the heritage trend or simply slung over a graphic tee to bring a little playfulness to some for the more edgy trends.

Backless and with blatant naughtiness, it features a saucy little zip at the rear, stretch fabric cross over straps and on the front; zip pockets and a sweetheart neckline.

This dress won’t be forgotten in a hurry and is a real statement piece and at just £55 by Firetrap is a bit of a bargain too. If you have a back worth showing off and the confidence to strut your stuff, you can pick this up from ASOS today.

If you’ve got the cash to flash and are a fan of Stella McCartney then you can’t go wrong with her silk sequin sprayed shift style dress (dress on left). In a beautiful mink colour, this is sure to dazzle the crowds, yet the simple slash neck shape will keep you covered and understated. At £1,695 it’s an investment piece and should you wish to invest you can pick one up from Net-a-porter.

Mid-range is this beautiful number from Rachel Gibson (dress in centre). At £515 from Net-a-porter it’s less than half the price of my top range pick and is in my opinion every bit as beautiful. The spray on sequins in chevron stripes give a fresh and wild feel and the cut out detailing on the back give this a softer edge.

Lastly we have the bargain from the highstreet, a red asymmetric one shoulder sequin dress from Dorothy Perkins (dress on right). At just £25 this is an affordable option for buying into a trend on a one off. With one of the key colours this season this dress along with the other options would make fabulous festive frocks!

The long multi button detailing and the fitted rib features along the arms are really chic and the longline style and deep scoop neck keeps what is essentially a basic jumper, feminine and flirtatious.

Wear as you like, or take a leaf out of Stella McCartney’s A/W 07 collection last year and wear brazen and braless.

Available in mink, black red or cornflower, this soft cotton mix pullover costs just £25 and can be picked up from ASOS.

This simple black satin pencil dress with a sweetheart neckline is a classic shape that will not date and you could get tons of wear out of over the coming years. The best bit is the price tag, at £38 it is far less than most of the party dresses I’ve seen this season and is a great wardrobe staple too.

It also comes in a jewel red colour and both versions would look great with a chunky leather belt worn under the bust line and some killer heals.

Leopard print is still a popular staple style this season, especially when applied to accessories, and these peep toes from Tesco are just £10 and a real bargain.

What’s more they are glam enough for a night out but also provide a staple item for daywear too, so unlike most party pieces you’ll get lots more wear from this investment than just the one night.

I am already planning what I’ll be wearing on Christmas Day and as comfort is top of my list I’ll be sure to bag a pair of these babies!

These knee high socks look super soft and will be perfect for keeping toes warm cosy all day.
