Emporio Armani
opened its doors on a three-story retail space in Moscow that carries each of the label’s lines and also holds a 48-seat Emporio Armani Caffè.
Mr. Armani confessed to Vogue.co.uk that the space, “which ticks all the boxes for the slick,” with its black granite floors, stainless steel panels and furniture of lacquered wood, has all been a simple labour of love.
“I have been waiting patiently to find an appropriate location for my first Emporio Armani store in Moscow. So I am excited that it is becoming a reality,” he told Voge.co.uk.
“This city is not only the capital, but one of the most important business, social and international hubs in Europe with a quickly rising reputation for being style conscious,” he adds.
“Moscow is a fascinating city that has an indisputable energy and beauty with its mixture of ‘East meets West’, ‘Tradition with Modernity’ and ‘Antiquity with Futurism’ that has created a one of a kind atmosphere.”
The new store itself is located within the GUM shopping centre, Red Square, 3, Moscow.
