Much like Shiloh Jolie-Pitt was listed as the most influential infant, Forbes.com has now declared Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie is Hollywood’s most influential couple.
According to the article, they got high scores on all counts because of their humanitarian acts, their growing family, and their overall likability - and People magazine’s Deputy Managing Editor stated that they’re even more appealing as a couple than they are individually.
“[Pitt] is pretty to look at, and he’s a fabulous actor, but he’s not the most scintillating person on his own,” Castro says. “But hook him up with, arguably, the world’s most beautiful woman, and then you have the makings of a really interesting tableau.”
Although we, as fans, roll our eyes at the tabloids for their constant creation of drama involving Brad and Angelina, the article also mentions that this ongoing tabloid coverage is part of what keeps the public interested, so I guess that old adage of “there’s no such thing as bad press” is at least a little true.
