Actor Ron Lester, known for his “lovable fat guy” roles, such as the portly Billy Bob in “Varsity Blues,” talks about his 315 pound weight loss in an interview on “The Today Show.”

37-year-old Lester, who tipped the scales at 509 pounds before turning 30, had gastric bypass surgery, flatlining during the operation, and numerous plastic surgeries to remove excess skin.
