I liked Klum's dress as well. She is usually pretty good about doing the right thing on the red carpet. And she should be. A supermodel ought to get it right, right?

Back to Kimora's hair barette. A million dollars? What is going on with all this million dollar stuff? Million dollar shoes. Million dollar hair pieces. Uh, didn't the folks in Hollywood hear that the country is headed for a recession? This is just wasteful for wasteful's sake, isn't it?

Back to the red carpet. So far, I haven't seen anything striking. Amy Ryan's black Calvin Klein dress is just so-so.

Hey, doesn't George Clooney's date look like a young Diane Lane? I had to do a double take. What do you think of her lavendar dress? I like it with her strawberry blond hair. Everyone can't pull off lavendar.
