There is no word yet if Bubu and Megga will be open since both clubs have been shut down recently.
If you are not going to be in São Paulo this year for the gay Carnival, I will do my best to keep you updated with pictures and videos from all the parties.
I have also compiled a list of websites and addresses for nightclubs and saunas in São Paulo. Check it out after the jump.
Nightclubs:
Blue Space: Rua Brigadeiro Galvao, 723.
Bubu Lounge: Rua dos Pinheiros, 791.
Clube de Regatas Tietê: Av. Santos Dumont, 843.
Flex: Av. Marquês de São Vicente, 1767.
Megga Fun: Rua Aquiles Orlando Curtolo, 646.
Playcenter: R. Jose Gomes Falcao, 20.
Studio Roxy: Rua Augusta, 430.
The Week: Rua Guaicurus, 324.
Ultra Diesel: Rua Marques de Itu, 284.
Tickets for the parties at The Week are on sale at Foch stores at Alameda Franca, 1546, Jardins, or at Shopping Frei Caneca. Tickets can also be purchased online at Ingresso Rapido.
Now I am certainly not a prude, but I have never been to a sauna in São Paulo, so I put together a list of the most familiar ones with the help of MixBrasil and Uomini.
269: Rua Bela Cintra, 269.
The biggest sauna in the city, also supposed to be the cleanest. Lockers cost R$34. Rooms start at R$46.
Gladiators Club: Rua Dr. Penaforte Mendes, 259.
Apparently the best sex club in São Paulo, right next to Shopping Frei Caneca. Lockers cost R$15, and there are no private rooms.
Labirinttu's II: Rua Frei Caneca, 135.
One of the oldest saunas in the city. It is not supposed to be very clean, and there are no private rooms, but it is always packed and there are plenty of escorts. It is open 24 hours.
SoGo: Alameda Franca, 1368.
SoGo is actually a nightclub in the Jardins area, but next to it is Dungeon Bar, probably one of the most famous dark rooms in the city. Entrance to Dungeon Bar is on Rua Bela Cintra, 1639.
Wild Thermas Club: Rua Dr. Veiga Filho, 802.
Small, but also supposed to be nice and clean.
More on Gay Pride weekend coming throughout the week.
