Mindy McCready’s Mom, Melody Inge, said that she and her family knew about Mindy’s relationship with Roger Clemens. Mindy had brought Roger along when she visited her.

Melody said that the couple visited her one morning and they all had breakfast together. She said that their relationship was on and off at times. Mindy was known to have watched the ball games and visited Las Vegas with Roger. Melody said that Roger had sent money to Mindy in the past.

Melody tried to defend Mindy. She said that Mindy never told her that she was in love with Roger Clemens. Melody related that Mindy was trying to get her life started again after her last release from jail. The negative publicity was not helping her.
