This is one crazy lawsuit that Jessica Simpson and her father Joe Simpson are in the middle of. Jessica taped a fitness video in 2005 which was produced by Speedfit, a fitness video company. The singer/actress doesn’t want anyone to see it.

Jessica had evidently signed a multi million dollar contract but never gave her approval for it to hit the store shelves. The owner of Speedfit, Alex Astilean, went after Jessica for a cool $10 million and since she will not settle, he is now going after her father Joe.

This is a good line. Astilean said, “They are hurting millions of fat people in America.” I am guessing that the owner of this fitness company has not seen the box office receipt tallies from the movies that Jessica has ‘acted’ in. If he thought he was going to make $10 million on this video, he was either dreaming or hopped up on diet pills.
