On a frosty Tuesday afternoon, things were bright and sunny at the Pucci store on 64th Street. Iconic swimwear and resort at its finest were on display, but the crowd was gathered to view the new Emilio Pucci sunglasses. Licensed by Marchon, the new frames incorporate classic prints, archival influences, and technical function. “The Vivara print is our most famous, and we have incorporated small elements of the oval design into most of the frames,” said Laudomia Pucci. “We also went back to the archives for our two-tone frame, which is more subtle.”

The collection includes 24 styles, each in four print/color combinations; prices range from $275 to $450. Select styles have already hit stores and will have you booking a ticket to Palm Beach at first glance. “We try really hard to coordinate the world of Pucci; we want to convey that sense of luxury, but don’t want to look too over-the-top,” said Pucci.
