Sony Ericsson recently announced the launch of its R300 Radio mobile phone and R306 Radio, targeting emerging markets such as India.

The two models have dedicated loudspeakers for the radio (stereo on R306 Radio) and preset channel buttons to enable easy switching between radio channels. Among other radio-specific features are 3D sound, volume boost, and the ability to set radio as alarm clock and record a clip if you fancy. The 300 Radio GSM/GPRS phone also sports a VGA camera while the R306 is bettered to a 1.3-megapixel camera with the other features remaining similar. There is also TrackID, which can identify your music, a common feature among higher-end Sony Ericsson phones.
