The Wolfords are certainly soft.

Soft and sheer do not always go hand in hand, some very sheer tights are quite coarse to the touch, others (glossy ones) almost like a polished surface to the touch. The big mystery to me has always been that some tights feel soft in the hand before you put them on but not all soft on your legs.

There are lots of soft tights out there, I sugest you use the Google search within my site to find “soft”, then read the reviews to see which meet your needs. I do try to comment on the feel as well as the look and fit of all the tights I test.
